Our answer is, we can give you the most up to date advice (as of the Spring 2024) on how to get tickets.
If you book a tour through us, we will try our very best to get the tickets for the date you require (very short notice bookings are likely to be sold out). These tickets are valid because we are not reselling or bulk buying tickets.

How Do I Get Anne Frank House Tickets?
Due to the capacity of the Anne Frank House, only around a million people per year can enter the house and museum. The Anne Frank House is, after all, just a tiny, old and narrow canal house.
A visit to the Anne Frank House is impressive and a must do in Amsterdam, so how do you get these tickets?
You can only buy Anne Frank House tickets online
For several years you were able to get tickets by standing in line in front of the House. Now in 2024, the only way to buy Anne Frank House tickets is online via the official website of the Anne Frank House.
The website offers two different types of Anne Frank House tickets:
Regular house and museum visit (includes a free audio guide of the Anne Frank House in 9 languages). A visit will take about 60 to 75 minutes for most people. Introductory programme including the regular museum visit (this is a 30-minute video about Anne Frank before the regular museum tour where you’ll have an audio guide).Both of these tickets are valid for a specific entry time slot and date, and the duration of the time slot only gives you 15 minutes to gain entry. Due to the restricted capacity, you have to be on time. If you are late, they won’t let you in.
Tickets are in your own name and are non refundable and you can’t exchange them for another time slot. You need to think wisely and carefully about the time and day you want to enter the Anne Frank House, and be on time. You can use a credit card to buy the tickets.

Please note:
Several companies even on platforms like Viator, TripAdvisor and GetYourGuide are now offering Anne Frank house tickets (at inflated prices). It is NOT permitted to resell tickets for the house and these tickets are also often fake. Many people have been turned away at the house because their tickets are fraudulent!

When Should I Book Anne Frank Tickets?
Tickets for Anne Frank House are released every Tuesday for a visit 6 weeks later . So, for example, on the 7th February, tickets will go on sale from the 21st March. The tickets go on sale at exactly 10am Amsterdam time (GMT+1). The tickets can sell out very fast, so set your alarm if you want to make sure you get tickets for the day of your visit.
In peak season (March to October) there is a chance the tickets will sell out within a few hours. There is even the chance that you have to wait in an online queue before you can get the tickets. If you are in a queue, make sure your credit card is nearby. From January 2024, tickets are €16 each for adults, €7 euro for children from 10 to 17, or €1 if you have a child under 10.
There are no ‘last minute’ tickets available! Once the online tickets have been sold for a particular date, that is it. There is no waiting list for tickets.

Anne Frank’s Last Walk
Retrace the final steps the Franks made on their journey to the annex, discovering the area around the annex and places Anne mentions in her diary. Then enter the annex ‘virtually’ via the virtual reality tour, seeing the house as it was when the Franks lived there in 1942-1944. This tour can be booked every day at 10am.
